At Shi Li Fang, diners get to enjoy over 20 dipping sauces at no additional charge to complement their hotpot. Interestingly, Shi Li Fang also pride themselves for offering MSG-free soup and non-fried ingredients. It is no doubt that health-conscious Singaporeans would definitely want to pamper their stomachs and eat till their hearts out given the added benefit.
The menu items which we find value for money are the individual platters ($9.90) - usually available at all outlets during lunch and certain outlets for dinners and the Chicken & Pork Platter for 2 ($24.50), from the ala-carte set menu.
Value Set for One (Chicken, Pork, Fish, All-in-One) - $9.90+
With almost 10 different value sets to choose from - pork, chicken, fish, all-in-one etc, the value set comes with your choice of a meat combo,a standard vegetable platter and your choice of staple - handmade noodles, egg noodles, vermicelli or rice.
Meat
We tried the Pork Combo and Chicken Combo, which comes with close to 8 slices of quality meat. The Pork Combo is served with a combination of Pork Belly and Superior Marble Pork. The Chicken Combo is served with a combination of Superior Chicken Slices and Shi Li Fang Speciality Chicken.
The speciality chicken is one fo Shi Li Fang’s signature which is marinated with chilli.
Another interesting combo we would definitely go for would be their “All-in-One” set which comprises of sausage, luncheon meat and other meat slices.
Vegetable Platter
Consisting of Chinese cabbage, tofu, egg, crabstick, fishball, enoki, black fungus, carrots, melon and vermicelli. At certain outlets, diners can choose to top up $0.30 to upgrade to a premium vegetable platter which consists of better grade vegetables such as broccoli, shitake mushrooms and lady’s fingers.
Staple
Diners get to choose their staple which includes a choice of handmade noodles, egg noodles, vermicelli or rice. These staples are also given in generous portion to make sure diners are guaranteed to be full.
