Wild Mushroom Risotto ($24)

With colorful aesthetics, the food presentation for this main was nothing short of perfection. Prepared with Arborio Rice, the rice was cooked to its best texture, and paired perfectly with the right amount of cream sauce. The cream sauce may have masked the taste of the wild mushrooms, but further concealed with a tint of white wine, bringing slight sourness to the overall taste. The crispy crunch from the Serrano Ham delivered a natural source of saltiness, which blended perfectly with the raw taste of Arborio Rice. The rich taste of the dish on the whole, brings flavours of sour and saltiness on the balance, which makes every mouthful so worthwhile.

Crab Pomodoro ($26)

The sensation of this dish comes from the soft texture of extracted crab meat that spells quality to the overall taste of the pasta. Served with handmade Pappardelle pasta, this crab pasta offers a unique taste, unlike those commercially available pasta. We love the flavours of mild spicy seafood oozes, with the addition of clam broth mixture in the midst of the wondrous freshness of the crab meat.

Boeuf Bourguigon - Burgundy style Red Wine Braised Beef ($36)

Medium-well was the right choice for a plate of quality beef brisket cooked with red wine. We would usually avoid blood and spatters on our dish, but this time, we were not disappointed at the exception which we had made. Our likings to this dish can be explained by the combination of a fine beef texture (not too hard nor soft) with the premium taste of red wine that masked the overwhelming taste of beef.

Above and beyond the highly premium dishes, dining in the presence of colourful interiors and furnishings made the evening’s experience worth revisiting.
