Three Generation Spring Roll (三代春捲) is one of the most popular stores at Formosa Boulevard 美麗島. Operated for more than 60 years, Three Generation Spring Roll (三代春捲) signatures include, spring rolls (春捲) , rice pudding (碗糕) (served in a bowl) and rice dumpling (肉粽).
Located right outside Formosa Boulevard Exit 1, you will be greeted by a queue for the spring roll at Three Generation Spring Roll (三代春捲).
Spring Roll 春捲 (NTD 40)
Freshly wrapped upon ordering, the spring roll is a must-order dish at Three Generation Spring Roll (三代春捲). The spring roll is generously wrapped with cabbage, carrot, beansprout, egg, braised meat, taugua and Chinese sausage. Two pieces of spring roll skin were used to wrap up the generous serving of ingredients so as to prevent the gravy from the ingredients to soak up the skin of the spring roll.
The spring roll is then put into a plastic bag so that diners can easily eat on-the-go, without having to worry that the ingredients will land onto their beautiful outfits.
Steamed Rice Pudding 碗糕 (NTD 30)
Rice pudding served with preserved vegetables and sweet and salty sauce. The rice pudding was soft and bouncy, which complemented well with the slightly sweet sauce.
