The pride of Sō Ramen comes from its five delectable broths - Tonkotso, Uobushi Tonkotsu, Spicy Tonkotsu, Miso and Spicy Miso, which requires simmering for precise hours in order to bring out its richest flavours. Made with premium wheat flour, Sō’s ramen is smooth and springy at every bite. To create delicious its rice dishes, Sō uses premium Koshihikari rice that is specially cultivated and grown on the finest, most pristine rice paddies in Niigata, Japan.
Cha Shu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen ($8.90)
Served with a generous portion of spring onions, bamboo shoots, spicy minced pork (shaped in a ball) and Cha Shu, this ramen totally appealed to our tastebuds. The spicy broth was really unique as it offers a balanced mix of chilli spices with a salty tint from the tonkotsu broth in its aftertaste. The skinny cut ramen was the most suitable to complement the Tonkotsu broth as it offered the best springy texture at every bite.
Tamago Spicy Tonkotsu ($10.90)
If you are someone who needs a soft-boiled egg in your ramen, go for the Tamago Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. On top of offering the ingredients similar to the Cha Shu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, this bowl of Ramen comes with one soft-boiled egg, that is really flavourful and soft.
Mustard Chicken ($3.80)
At Sō Ramen, multiple sides are being offered affordably to diners to complete their meal. We tried the Mustard Chicken - Deep Fried Chicken served with mustard sauce. This combination of the sweet and sour sauce added to a whole new dimension to the already crispy and incredibly juicy chicken.
